Maui Mini Movie: Bones Brigade

Ok Windies this is one I whipped out. There is a lot of water shots and different perspectives going on, the original title was "altered states". Toast and I were going for some back and forth viewpoints. Each shot had a different angle. The Jonnyboy shot at the end was a classic. I heard about Jim Bones and thought I would lend a hand, so I changed the title and asked Caprice to do a short talk about his situation. Why I like

Check out this video. This is why I like strapless surfboard better than strapped. There is so much more area to grow. It is unbelievable watching the straplees 3's. Sick! Aloha and Good Luck

What I Got

I don't got a lot. Destiny has brought me here with my wife and dog in tow. I got a nice place, older cars, kites and boards, lots of boards. My loving wife helps me tend to it all. I also got a beach, camera and some people who are starting to believe in my shots. I only have to walk out in front of my office everyday to get the best kiters in the world. I got great surf and great wind most of the time and I am blessed. I love to make Maui Mini Movies and I am stoked to give them to you. I am an open book, so if you like something or don't shoot me an email and I will try harder. Strapless in Oahu

Love to see the boys over there still throwing some hard turns strapless. I know I am a purest, so anytime I see a hard tail being thrown, a lip being cracked or some sort or air on the wave or out the back I keep a keen eye out for straps. If I see anything that resembles straps the move loses it's potency. I think that straps have there place, but not after April and not before October. Never where straps before Labor Day. Shawn's New Move 2

SO, it was a day not so many like many others. An afternoon where the wind cranks up to 30+, Toast cracking 50 to 60 foot airs, and Shawn Richman showing up for the late session. I had heard a couple of days earlier Shawn had done a triple cork. Now, my buddy Peter and I had to get it on film.
