Maui vs The Gorge

There is an ongoing argument between kiters from the Gorge, and kiters from the Gorge who come to Maui. I can't tell you how many times I've heard this. Most of the time I refrain,and have a good chuckle. The fact is I have never been, so I don't have a rebuttal. My only real response is: You are stating you case here, in Maui. Some day I will show up there and ride. Until then, it's winter, I wonder how good the wind is there?.brrrrr. This is a video from Windependent who taught at the Gorge this year. He is now a snowbird, kiting in La Ventana, staying out of the cold.
